Tours, special tours and lectures   Visits The castle and the exhibition rooms can be visited in 2013 between the 4th May and 6th October. Not open on public holidays as well as 17 to 25 June (exhibition design) and 27 July to 5 August (Zerbster Heimat- und Schützenfest). On both the 1nd June, 28th June, 24th August and 21nd September the castle is closed on account of a special event.   Opening times Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00           Half-hourly tour of the castle,           Admission: 2.00 € per person On the Third Sunday of the month: 10:00-12:00           Individual tour of the ground floors,           Guided tour of the upper floors,           Admission: 2.00 and 4.00 € per person Special tours German or Russian language special tours of the castle are possible in the period from mid April to early October by appointment. The cost for a guided tour (approx. 1 hour) amounts to € 4.00 per person, minimum group price is € 50.00. For school classes € 1.00 per child is requested. For distances over 10 km and more a travel allowance will be added @ 0.30 € per kilometer.
